CMS Dental has designed two endodontic obturator systems. Both systems are based on the concept of a biocompatible flexible plastic core coated with thermoplastic gutta percha. The main difference between the two systems is that the Soft-Core obturator is inserted in the canal by holding the detachable handle, and the One-Step obturator by use of the special designed self locking tweezers.
Well over 1 million root canals have been filled with a Soft-Core Endodontic Obturator. They are manufactured and packed in Denmark under careful quality control. Every single item is visually inspected before packaging.
CMS Dental manufactures its own pharmaceutical grade gutta percha utilizing raw GP collected from rubber trees.
Our GP processing is unique as we are the only company to master the technique of injection moulding gutta percha. That is why we have an unusally high consistency and quality of the final products, with less than 1/10 of a milimeter difference from each GP moulding.
